Is the popularity of anti-evolution Young Earth Creationist Christianity in the USA related to the trend.....?

Uhh ... no. I live in a fairly atheist community (I am not one) and people are starting to cut many education budgets. Education is one of the most important things. It tought me the difference between belief and knowledge and pratically made me (into the anti - liberal I am). I don't blame christains because I am one and I would increase sciences and philosophy classes that breed some of today's atheists
