by definition, an adjustment corrects a subluxation. a subluxation is a fixated vertebral misalignment producing nerve interference. this only occurs in the upper neck. the adjustment at once unlocks and moves the vertebra toward normal alignment accomplishing it's main purpose of relieving pressure on the spinal cord which passes downward through it.
