End of the year gift for professor?

It's really not appropriate to buy your Teacher a gift but if you do decide to, it should be a very impersonal gift such as a planner or something of this nature...I wouldn't suggest any other type of gift because he might read more into the gift than what you intended..A thank you card will suffice in these cases.
