Coastal scents 28 neutral palette?

I've tried the Coastal Scents 88 Neutral palette and you can't really compare them to MAC. The colour payoff is alright, but I experienced quite a lot of fall out and they're not exactly 'high quality'. You'd be better off saving your money for a bunch of neutral single eyeshadows from MAC. They're smooth, pigmented and you really do get what you pay for. But if you really want to try the 28 Neutral palette then purchase one off eBay. You can get them far cheaper and the palettes are the same as the ones Coastal Scents are selling, just without the printed logo. I hope this helps. :)

Dating Quandaries as a Nerd?

Ever since I was young academia has been a top priority of mine. My parents always instilled the idea that education will take me as far as I want to go in life, except socially. As a result of pursuance of higher education and overall knowledge I feel as though I've missed out on the social aspect of my life. While I have friends from both high school and college (which I am currently enrolled in as a student of Mechanical Engineering), I have never had a girlfriend in my entire life. However, from what I've been told, I have quite the outgoing personality and sense of humor, and that I simply need to let it show more often rather than when the occasion calls for it. They're trying to change my look (which for me is a facet of who I am). I'm a very simple guy who enjoys jeans and t-shirts with various science fiction pop culture references. I don't want to change myself for sake of being with someone, especially what makes me ME, whether if its intellect, dress, personality, etc ad nauseum. Ok here is my problem... I got my girlfriend pregnant when she was 16, and I was 17. I then rushed to get my high school diploma, and she got her ged. after we both got our diplomas we got married, and shortly after had our baby girl. One week after my daughter was born I left for basic training, ait, and airborne school for the army national guard. I have been home for 6 months now. Here is were the problems begin. I have been working Overnights at walmart busting my balls for the last 3 months. I work Overnights so my wife can go to college while I stay home and watch my daughter. Anyway money is so tight. Honestly I love my wife so much, but I am constantly doubting why we got married. O.K. The weather in the UK is such that we don't have any insects or anything else in this country that can kill you, it also means we have a lovely looking countryside, not barren lands as in other countries. The people you meet depends on where you live. I was brought up in the countryside, the sort of place where everyone knew everyone and if did happen to walk by someone you didn't know then you still exchanged pleasantries, even if it was just something like good morning, you also never needed to lock you doors and often either popped in to see your neighbours or had your neighbours pop round to see you. It's not the same in the city as people seem so wary of one another. I stayed at a person house in London with a few of his friends. He had lived in the same house for 10yrs and didn't even know his neighbour, that seemed very odd to me. The benefits of living in London are that there is always something going on, plenty of theatres, eating places, shows, etc., so it depends on whether you're willing to trade that off for a life in the countryside where people are far more friendly and talkative, but where long walks across a beautiful countryside with woods, birds and wildlife along with one local pub are your leisure activities.

I feel people are more focused on their A, or what someone else got in their class on a lab report or quiz; "what did you get on your test?". Or why arent we discussing other possibilities of what we have just learned in class? I feel nothing is set in stone in science, but everyone is so preoccupied with things that don't matter. It doesn't make sense to me as I get older and continue to refuse to join or be interested in such matters I find mundane like your 4.0. I'm stubborn I know, but I like to know everything firmly so that I can challenge the arguments or findings that I read about daily in textbooks. But I just don't think people understand me and its frustrating to feel like i'm the weird one because understand the concepts are more important to me than merely memorizing them. I am losing my respect for school in general and people in college. But i'm not totally closed off...I was a freshman once, and also, getting the grade is ultimately what some people are satisfied with. It doesn't rank our understanding of the knowledge though, and I hesitate to say that all it ranks is how much you want whatever it is you want in the end. But what you want in the end isn't always to learn the material for the sake of learning, but for the motive of making more money. This (the latter) makes me ask then, if money is all you seek, then the very definition of school, education, and knowledge has no definition at all and all it is is a type of orientaion or training period of four or more years....interest in pure knowledge, I believe, has side effects; character, mental, emotional, AND, in turn, financial growth, becoming a more open person to other cultures, people, and places...etc. but it just seems all so superficial. The most real people I feel I know are the ones that don't attend school, although they are missing out on a life changing experience. It's not for everyone though. About 2 months ago, I woke up for school on a Monday morning while sleeping on my stomach and, having my head rested so the right side of my face was on the pillow. ( I was looking to the left) I then turned my head/ neck to get up from bed, and felt an awful pain on the left side of my neck, kind of in the vicinity behind my left ear. I went to the doctor and they seemed absolutley certain that I had a torn facet joint. They prescribed me to a chiropractor and said it will take between 4-8 treatments of neck adjustment, and I'll be back to normal. I have went to the chiro 10 times, and have now canceled any more visits as I find my neck is now worse. It feels stiff, sore and cracks a lot. It is interupting me with everything I do in the day. I have trouble sleeping now ( abd yes I got a new expensive support pillow for my neck) It feels like a wall on the back/left side of my neck when I get out of bed in the morning and even throughout the day. I constantly have the feeling of needing to crack my neck, and even without using my hands and just tilting my neck to the left, my neck is cracking. I'm going back to see my doctor this Saturday. Do you know what can help me? Or do you know what's wrong with my neck? By the way, I'm 16 years old, and before I started going to the chiro my neck never cracked yet when I supposivly pulled this joint in my neck, it was very sore and stiff.

Why is part of my bottom lip numb after I got hit in the mouth?

I got hit in the mouth about 3 days ago and since then, I cant feel the left side of my bottom lip. How can I make my camera stop blurring my pictures?

I am attempting to do a project for school, but so far have had no luck using the camera I need for the project. It is a Canon Powershot S5 IS. It is my Dad's, and I don't have the technical knowledge to understand all the different facets of this camera. I've looked up manuals for it, looked at other people's solutions for blurry pictures, and tried adjusting everything that make sense, to me, to adjust, but all with no success. There wont be any colour difference between 14k and 18k white gold but you might find that the 14k ring will rub the 18k as its softer (gold is softer the purer it is) and you will need to have it rhodium plated more frequently then normal. White gold needs plating every few months so you will be forever doing it!! I would recommend getting 14k if you can but white gold is a pain either way! Its no more risky buying online then in a shop, if you dont know what your looking at then you can still end up with a fake when buying from a shop! The better reason to go to a shop is that you can see the ring in the flesh, check out the stones and the quality. Your making too much out of all of it! I've had back problems my whole life, car accident, and 2 falls! I can tell you only from leaning the wrong way, you didnt hurt your back seriously. You may have a strain, pulled some muscles, etc but nothing that some rest and taking it easy wont heal. Time heals all! Doctors are so anxious to test and Xray, or do unnecessary surgery. often times one specalist will look at an MRI and be ready to perform surgery, another will say it's perfectly within the realm of normal. Just like the neck, your back can get out of alignment, or have sore spots from stress and tightening of muscles. That can cause a lot of pain, as can pinched nerves from compression. Some treatments, stretching exercises, and massage can do wonders (if you suffer from that). But you have to give it TIME! Take it easy on yourself and let your body heal and recover.

Large coastal US cities that are SAFE?

i currently live in the suburbs of detroit where whenever I go into the city for concerts, etc. I do not feel safe at all and constantly have to watch my back, although I enjoy the big city feel and nightlife. I would like to move just outside a big city preferably on the water and in the south, I really can't stand michigan winters. I've looked into fort lauderdale area around miami but wouldn't even mind the west coast. I know all big cities have their bad areas but I would like somewhere that isn't as big into crime and as dangerous as detroit, I would like somewhere where i can go out to clubs and the beach and has good nightlife since i am young. Tips for Pacific Coastal Highway(s) road trip?

Its been my dream for a couple of years to do a trip down the pacific coast starting in northern Oregon and ending at a particular pier in San Diego, taking as many coastal highways as possible, and have the chance to do so this summer with my boyfriend. There is no easy test you can do on it without the risk of damaging the surface of the stone. Normally you can test a sapphire by determining its hardness. What they would do is expose it to UV radiation (black light - short wave). Many artificial stones are "doped" with dyes that cause them to fluoresce brightly. They would also look for inclusions in the stones. Glass and artificial stones grown in laboratories are very clean and without flaws. Natural stones tend to have other mineral grains or inclusions of gas or other fluids. They would be visible when viewed under a microscope.

How do I accept my mother's religious beliefs?

My mom and I get along pretty well, but that hasn't always been the case (I'm 32). I've learned to deal with the facets of her personality that make it hard to have a relationship with her.
